Our Focus

The projects showcased at RAF, "rise above" obstacles and challenges, and empower a change. They must have a female: Producer, Writer, Cinematographer, or Director attached. RAF also highlights "Women Over 40" in their own category, which has been a hit with the filmmakers. RAF has had two installments and we look forward to the next one!

A powerful addition added to RAF 2018 was a celebrity panel: “Being Successful in a Male Driven World: How Women Rise Above” hosted by comedian/actress/writer, Lisa Ann Walter. 

Celebrity Panelists included:  Patrika Darbo (Emmy-winning Actress), Mary Madeiras (Emmy-winning Director), Kaitlyn Yang (Forbes 30 Under 30 Honoree), Rosa Blasi (Actress), and Cinda Snow (Hollywood Talent Agent). 

Some other celebrity RAF guests have included: Lydia Jewett (The Darkest Minds), Meredith O'Connor (Anti-bullying Activist and Singer), Simonna (Singer), Miya Cech (The Darkest Minds), Raegan Revord (Young Sheldon), Maya Le Clark (The Thundermans), Mackenzie Hancsicsak (This is Us), Shiloh Nelson (Tomorrowland), Gia Fey (Influencer), and Lesley Fightmaster (Influencer).

RAF was so honored to partner with Girl Uplifters Team (GUT), a female group of youth females whose mission is to uplift one's self and others at an early age, so it carries through into adulthood. The group includes many known actresses that take a stand against bullying and help others with their TV Shows and films.
