When Being "Self-Centered" Is Actually Good ;)

I often hear from people that they can tell that I'm not originally from Los Angeles because I'm "nice." No joke! Well, my being from Colorado might be a reason, but I'd say one reason is definitely because of my in-depth study of Tibetan Buddhism for over two decades. 

I have completed the American curriculum format of a Geshe Degree (similar to a Doctorate of Philosophy), which encompasses the studies that a selected monk in a monastery would cover in his years of study. After six years of study of the entire advanced curriculum of Buddhism, I graduated "With Highest Honors" from Diamond Mountain University. Fulfilling my vows, I completed four Le Rungs, which are month-long silent retreats in self-isolation. I have taught since 2002 worldwide, to all ages, even to nursing home seniors.
